Frosted Candles

  • Empty Moccona jars, assorted sizes
  • Thin tape, decorative sticker shapes, or a stencil mask
  • 1 can frosted glass spray paint
  • LED tea lights, or battery operated-fairy-lights

Light up your room with our candle jars

Steps

  1. 01

    Remove labels from empty Moccona jars. Wash and dry jars well.

  2. 02

    Apply a removable material – such as tape, or a stencil, to the outside of your jar. This area will remain clear.

  3. 03

    Place jar on a large piece of cardboard or painting drop-sheet. Remember to do this outside, or in a well-ventilated area.

  4. 04

    Spray jar with the frosted glass paint, per instructions on the can. Allow to dry, then apply a second coat if required. Once paint is set, carefully remove pattern-masking material.

  5. 05

    Place an LED votive, or fairy-lights, into the jars to create a warm glow!
